The Richmond Times-Dispatch used to be one of Virginia’s most conservative newspapers. These days, it is anything but conservative.

I don’t understand how supposedly educated people have such a hard time understanding basic facts.

When you violate the university’s policies regarding the establishment of encampments, and you fail to disperse when ordered to do so by law enforcement, you are no longer engaging in a peaceful protest. You are violating the law and the university not only has the right, but the responsibility, to hold you accountable.
