Latest Polls Show Tight Virginia Gubernatorial Race

The University of Mary Washington released its latest poll Monday for the 2017 gubernatorial contest that shows the race is within the margin of error with six weeks to go.

Ed Gillespie (R): 39 percent

Ralph Northam (D): 44 percent

Cliff Hyra (L):  3 percent

Undecided: 14 percent

Margin of Error +/- 5 percent

On the same day the Suffolk University Poll (Boston) came out and showed tied results:

Ed Gillespie (R): 42 percent

Ralph Northam (D): 42 percent

Cliff Hyra (L): 3 percent

Undecided: 12 percent

Margin of Error: +/- 4.4 percent
