Reaction to Clinton Not Facing Indictment

Shocker of shockers – a week after a special tarmac tete-a-tete between former President Bill Clinton and Attorney General Loretta Lynch, the day that former Secretary of State and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton travels for her campaign on Air Force One with President Barack Obama, and mere weeks before the Democratic National Convention solidifies Clinton’s nomination, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has recommended that Clinton not be indicted regarding her use of a personal email server while secretary, which included the use of classified correspondence.

Not to sound too cynical (okay, you know better) but if this had been me while active duty in the Navy, I probably would have seen the inside of a brig before finishing drafting this article. This is once again another example of the Clintons getting away with stuff the rest of us just can’t.

To put a finer point on it, FBI Director James Comey flat out said that Clinton has not been telling the truth in her claims. She has claimed repeatedly that there was no classified material and Comey made clear there were at least 110 emails that were classified at the time they were sent, and another 2k that were classified after the fact. She was lying, and she knew she was lying.

Regardless, reaction is starting to come in and we have made inquiries with national campaigns and state leaders to get their reaction. We will update this post as we receive more statements/info…

State Senator Tom Garrett, who is running for congress in Virginia’s 5th District:

“I think we can agree that ‘extremely careless’ is not a character trait that we want in our Commander in Chief. The irony is that democrats applaud Comey in his finding that reckless behavior does not warrant prosecution and ignore the very same FBI Director who has told us that there is no way Americans can remain safe if Syrian immigrants, whom we fund to the tune of millions of dollars, continue to come over without being appropriately vetted.”

Senator Garrett expanded on this statement by saying, “Based on the information I have, I might reach a different conclusion than FBI Director Comey, but I will at least acknowledge his findings. I would call upon my opponent, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton to also acknowledge Director Comey’s findings as it relates to the safety of bringing tens of thousands of young men from nations with ongoing Islamic conflicts to our nation. Simply put, if Director Comey is right today, how can we discount what he said yesterday?”

Garrett continued, “this ‘extreme carelessness’ is only the latest example from a Presidential candidate whose mishaps include lying to the American public about the nature of the Benghazi attack, covering for her husband’s illicit behavior, having been previously investigated by the FBI for unethical financial dealings, and laughing off the deaths of four brave Americans by saying, ‘what difference at this point does it make?”

Former GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina:

Today, the FBI admitted that Hillary Clinton endangered the American people—and confirmed that the worst things any of us imagined about Hillary’s email server were true.
FBI Director James Comey concluded that Hillary was “extremely careless” in handling our nation’s secrets.

He admitted that no reasonable person could have believed putting these emails on a private server was at all appropriate or acceptable.

He admitted that 110 emails on the server were classified at the time they were sent—showing that Hillary not only lied, but knowingly endangered national security as Secretary of State.

He admitted that Hillary deleted work-related emails before turning them over to the State Department, despite her claims otherwise.

And most shocking, Mr. Comey even admitted that it’s likely foreign governments hacked her emails—and that our adversaries could know critical secrets about the U.S. government because of Hillary’s actions.
But when you’re a Clinton, none of this matters.

Presumptive GOP Nominee, Donald Trump:

The FBI Director laid out today a detailed case of how Hillary Clinton compromised the safety of the American people by storing highly classified information on a private email server with no security. He confirmed that her email could easily have been hacked by hostile actors, and confirmed that those she emailed with were hacked.

Our adversaries almost certainly have a blackmail file on Hillary Clinton, and this fact alone disqualifies her from service.

It has also been revealed that Hillary Clinton lied when she said that she did not send classified information. The FBI Director confirmed that over 100 emails were deemed classified at the time they were sent, including emails classified as top secret.

On top of it all, Hillary Clinton’s lawyers wiped the servers clean to delete another 30,000 emails – hiding her corrupt dealings from investigators. She used the State Department for her personal gain, trading favors for cash, and tried to conceal the records. Also, she didn’t want people to know the details about her botched decisions in Libya, Syria, Iraq and Egypt that destabilized the Middle East.

But because of our rigged system that holds the American people to one standard and people like Hillary Clinton to another, it does not look like she will be facing the criminal charges that she deserves.

Bill Clinton didn’t accidentally run into the Attorney General on the airport tarmac last week in Phoenix. Hillary Clinton didn’t accidentally sneak into the FBI during one of the country’s biggest holiday weekends to testify on her illegal activities, something that wouldn’t be afforded to others under investigation (and on a Saturday of all days). It was no accident that charges were not recommended against Hillary the exact same day as President Obama campaigns with her for the first time.

Folks – the system is rigged. The normal punishment, in this case, would include losing authority to handle classified information, and that too disqualifies Hillary Clinton from being President.

The final jury will be the American people, and they will issue the verdict on her corruption, incompetence, and bad judgment on November 8th.

Prince William County Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart:

“We all know she’s a liar. It’s no surprise she would blatantly lie to Americans for over a year regarding the emails.” He continued, “She should be disqualified to run for President. This isn’t a campaign talking point. Her recklessness and mishandling of classified information endangered our national security and American lives. Any other American would be in jail and publicly discredited by the media for similar corruption and she’s the Democratic nominee.”

State Senator Bryce Reeves:

The FBI director confirmed that Hillary Clinton showed bad judgement, was reckless with classified information, and endangered our national security.

For months, she lied. She lied when she said that she turned over all her emails. She lied when she said she didn’t send or receive classified information. She may not face indictment in a court of law, but her honesty and judgment certainly have been indicted.

Clinton directed this server to be established just to cover up a tangled web of donors, State Department actions, and her family foundation. It is clear that she puts her own interests above that of our country, and it is ridiculous that she won’t have to face the consequences for her actions.

Meanwhile, our Governor Terry McAuliffe, long time friend of the Clinton’s, is also under investigation by the FBI…
