The Richmond-Times Dispatch calls out the left on Medicaid, and in brilliant style:
“All I’ve heard from the other side is ‘Let’s do an audit,’ ” said Del. Patrick Hope in a speech urging expansion of Medicaid. “That’s not a plan. That’s a stall tactic.”
The next day, The Washington Post reported that “More than 20 people were arrested Thursday on federal charges connecting them to a series of Medicaid and other health-care schemes that prosecutors say cheated taxpayers out of tens of millions of dollars.”
Whoops.
So before taking out a $7 billion loan to prop up Medicaid expansion in Virginia, maybe — just maybe — we want to make sure the car is actually running right before we sign papers?
Just a thought. It ain’t stalling if it’s true.
