Brownlee Endorses Snyder; Rolls Out Heavy Artillery for Endorsements

Oliver North, Mike Farris, Dennis Fusaro.  Add to that list former U.S. District Attorney John Brownlee as endorsing Pete Snyder for lieutenant governor.

From the press release:

“Having launched and led two successful businesses and created hundreds of good jobs right here in Virginia, Pete knows exactly what it takes to get our economy growing in all parts of the Commonwealth. He’s also a rock solid conservative with a twenty-year record of working on behalf of our movement and our values,” said Brownlee. “I’m excited to endorse Pete Snyder, and I look forward to doing everything I can to help make sure he is our Republican nominee and Virginia’s next Lieutenant Governor.”

“I’m so thankful for the support of my friend John Brownlee,” said Snyder. “John’s dedication to our party and our conservative movement is known throughout the Commonwealth, and his endorsement and support are a tremendous benefit heading into the convention on May 18th.”

As he continues to build momentum heading into the Republican convention, Snyder has also earned the endorsements of tie-making State Senator Bryce Reeves (R-17); Southwest Virginia Delegate Israel O’Quinn (R-5); 9th District GOP Chairman Jack Morgan; 9th District GOP State Central Committee Rep. and Montgomery County GOP Chair Marcy Hernick; Bristol City GOP Chairman Kevin Corbett; Salem City Republican Committee Chairman Kjersten Croke; education reform expert and Arlington County GOP Chairman Charles Hokanson; 2012 8th District GOP U.S. House nominee Col. Patrick Murray; 8th District GOP Chairman Mike Ginsberg; Former Alexandria City GOP Chairman Chris Marston; Fairfax County business and civic leader Stu Mendelsohn; 2012 3rd District GOP U.S. House nominee Dean Longo; RPV State Central Committee Rep. Curtis Colgate; Northampton County GOP Chairman John Salm; Commonwealth’s Attorney for Rockingham County and Harrisonburg Marsha Garst; Rockingham & Harrisonburg Clerk Of Court Chaz Evans-Haywood; Woodstock Mayor Jeremy McCleary; Generation Joshua Director Joel Grewe; conservative icons Mike Farris and Lt. Col. Oliver North; and national conservative grassroots powerhouse Ending Spending, among others.

Not a bad stable — and you’ll note that folks such as Del. Israel O’Quinn, Curtis Colgate, Patrick Murray, Mike Ginsberg, Chris Marston, Joel Grewe, Chaz Evans-Hayworth and Dean Longo — you’re looking at a pretty young and up-and-coming slate of endorsements right there.

I would expect this to be “endorsements week” in Virginia — five weeks away from the big dance, it’s time to see who’s really backing these guys/gals.

UPDATE:  Dennis Fusaro has not made an endorsement yet… but is still considering options.  The more you know…
