…and here’s the better part. While union leaders are attempting to lead coal jobs down the primrose path, Tim Kaine’s buddy in the White House loves to brag about bankrupting coal.
“So, if somebody wants to build a coal plant, they can — it’s just that it will bankrupt them, because they are going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”
Ouch.
Not exactly the words you want to see when former DNC chief Tim Kaine is helicoptering around Southwest Virginia, eh?
60,000 lost jobs. 175 coal plants retired, all while we’re throwing billions of dollars at Obama’s campaign funders through solar, wind, and other “green” tech while the clean coal remains unexplored.
…and while Virginia sits on the world’s largest proven reserves of coal.
Roanoke could be the next Houston — if only Obama and Kaine would unshackle our energy reserves. Just think about it: jobs in Southwest Virginia, lower gasoline prices in Northern Virginia, a port open to the world at Hampton Roads where energy exploration off of Virginia’s coastline is just waiting to be tapped, cheaper heating costs in Central Virginia and Shenandoah…
Kaine opposes all of this…
…and this guy is gonna stop him.
George Allen gets it on energy and clean coal, and that’s good for Virginians everywhere.
