I talk with Sabrina Schaeffer, executive Director of the Independent Women’s Forum, about the supposed “war on women,” and why the left’s war rhetoric is merely an attempt to divert attention away from the economic issues that pose a real threat to the health and prosperity both genders
I also talk with GOP Senate candidate George Allen about one of our favorite topics, energy. This past week saw the President, Senate Democrats and their wannabe colleague Tim Kaine mount a crusade against the evil oil companies and the tax deductions then-Sen. Obama voted to give them back in 2005. That play closed after a very brief run (and thanks to Dem. Jim Webb’s vote to scuttle debate), but the Democratic assault on fossil fuels of all types marches on.
Also joining me is Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, who provides a synopsis of the three days of Supreme Court argument over Obamacare. While oceans of electrons have been committed to analyzing, poking and prodding the proceedings, Cuccinelli offers an insider’s view of the case, how it might be decided and whether we should put any faith in the idea that Justice Kennedy is actually the key to any decision. Plus, the AG puts on his gubernatorial candidate for a moment and offers his ideas on what should replace the law if it is struck down.
