Senator Mark Obenshain is hosting an “end-of-session” wrap-up breakfast on March 7 in Richmond.
Perhaps that’s a bit of wishful thinking, considering that Senate Democrats remain intransigent in their quest for power over paying police and teachers salaries. This despite unanimous consent yesterday from House Democrats to reintroduce the budget bills.
Will cooler heads prevail, such as Senator Charles Colgan or maybe even Senate John Miller (who applauded the budget because of money being spent for expansion at Christopher Newport University)?
