While most attention was focused on the Senate vote on the property rights amendment, it must be noted that the measure’s House counterpart, patroned by Del. Rob Bell, passed 80-18. The vote is almost identical to last year’s 81-18 tally.
Interestingly, one Republican — Tom Rust — flipped from being a “yes” vote in 2011 to voting “no” this year.
Conversely, Democrat Rosalyn Dance flipped from a “no” vote in 2011 to “yes” this year. So, too, did Democrat Kaye Kory.
Democrats flipping from “yes” in 2011 to “no” in this session: Dels. Dolores McQuinn and Vivian Watts.
