Less than three weeks ago, Hillary Clinton was on a roll. After an early stumble in New Hampshire, she was putting this race against avowed Socialist Bernie Sanders without breaking a sweat.
She won 19 states, including big ones like Florida and Texas, to Bernie’s 10. On March 15th, she swept all five primaries and started turning her attention to attacking Donald Trump rather than Bernie Sanders.
Oops.
Since then, Bernie’s beaten Clinton in 6 of 7 primaries. In true delegate counts, Bernie has shortened Clinton’s lead to 1279-1027.
If Sanders keeps this up, it’s possible that Hillary Clinton goes into the Democrat convention losing the real delegate count and only being saved by the “superdelegate” party insiders, of whom she has a 469-31 advantage.
Imagine the Democratic chaos if the candidate chosen by a majority of voters is overturned by the decision of “superdelegates!”
Unlikely, right? Well who predicted Sanders reeling off six wins in a row.
While the media gives wall to wall coverage to Trump and Cruz, don’t let them hide the real story.
