Craig Parisot is trying to follow in Barbara Comstock’s footsteps and become the next delegate in the 34th House of Delegates, but he’s getting a strong challenge from Democrat Kathleen Murphy.
Murphy, who also took Comstock to the wire in 2013, has raised almost double Parisot in what VPAP is characterizing as the most expensive House race since they began tracking money in politics in 1996.
However, the number of dollars per vote could be very high indeed as turnout is likely to be low.
Overnight, Fairfax and Loudoun received a dusting of snow which has made driving a bit dicey.
