McCotter joins presidential race
By | Thursday, June 30th, 2011 | Politics

Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI) will officially join the race for president on Friday – apparently because there was a vacuum in the race for a bald male version of Michelle Bachmann…?

I assume that some of these candidacies are about running for Senator and Gov in the future.

Anyone from Michigan has my vote. Oh, wait…Romney’s from there too. This might be more difficult than I initially thought.

It looks like Thaddeus “rocks” though.

Rep. McCotter is one of the biggest supporters of organized labor on the Republican side.

Of all things, he was one of 13 Republicans who supported the Employee Free Choice Act (card check) which strips a workers right to a private ballot in unionization elections, increases fees for unfair labor practices (easy to get when you’re a small business being unionized since you don’t know what you can and can’t do) and mandates binding arbitration by a government bureaucrat when both sides can’t come to an agreement.

According to a study by noted economist Dr. Anne Layne-Farrar, director of LECG Consulting, more than 5 million jobs would be lost in the years ahead if EFCA passed.

    5 MILLION!
