Your Daily Bracket: VCU Wins in Overtime
By Krystle Weeks | Saturday, March 26th, 2011 | SportsIn overtime, VCU defeats Florida State to advance to the Elite 8. In a game that was physically aggressive and a nailbiter, VCU held leads through most of the game until the end. You got to love the sweet taste of victory, but the real challenge comes when the Rams face Kansas.
On the other hand, Kansas defeated University of Richmond today with solid offensive plays and a strong defense. While it is sad not seeing Richmond advance, they should be applauded for a job well done by making it to the Sweet 16.
There was another bracket buster tonight as Kentucky defeated Ohio State. In a game that was heated and physical, Kentucky dominated defensively to shut down the Buckeyes’ offense.
Here are the Elite 8 Matchups:
- Kentucky vs. North Carolina
- Arizona vs. UConn
- Kansas vs. VCU
- Butler vs. Florida
Any predictions on who will make it to the Final Four?

GREAT finish! Go Rams!
My bracket is all but destroyed. UConn is my only hope.
