Dear Democrats: PLEASE nominate Terry McAuliffe
By | Thursday, February 10th, 2011 | Politics

Former Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, former Chairman of Hillary Clinton’s campaign for President – what else do you need to know? What credentials! Take note of his “prowess at wrangling donor support”. Learn how “McAuliffe the political craftsman has played an incalculable part in making the electoral map bluer than ever.”

And you know he wants the job. He’s blogging, tweeting, and touring our fair state, listening to the people, straining to hear how what we need is more Clinton-style politics in Virginia. (If you visit his site, you may wish to don some kind of green light filtering system, though. Or, for a walk down memory lane, enjoy his book, “What a Party“).

Yes, please, Democrats, take us back to the good old days – bring us that piece of political history that never seemed to actually understand our state – Terry McAuliffe.

About the author

Jane Dudley

Jane Dudley has enjoyed conservatism and photography for over 30 years. After looking around at the mediocre state of affairs of political photography as it exists on the right, she decided to start making better images, to document Virginia Republicans and to inspire them to make more of an effort to put a fine face on their fine ideas. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and works in new media.
