    The people voting for Moran don’t have a particular problem with these kind of statements or the many similar ones he’s made in the past. He’s doing wonderful things for the country you understand. His voters know that the D next to his name sanctifies his every misdeed. That applies to his voters whether they are high school dropouts or went to graduate school. Expecting Dems to act like conservatives in enforcing at least some minimum level of conduct in their pols is foolish.

    Quite embarrassed.

    But in Arlington, we don’t really have a choice.

    In 2008, 72% voted for Obama and only 27% for McCain. Bush fared slightly better (31% to 68%).

    Until he retires or is primaried by a sensible Dem, we’re stuck with this idiot.

    A small sign of progress: ardent Dem supporter of Moran that I’ve spoken with for years just two days ago said he is (finally) disgusted enough to no longer support the Moran.
