November e-zine: Dr. Quentin Kidd – The Vicious Cycle of American Elections

Guest Commentary by Dr. Quentin Kidd, Christopher Newport University
To understand the results of elections today, one has to understand the three major parts that make up the electorate and the forces that motivate those parts. I find this easier to do by looking down from 30,000 feet than by looking up from the forest floor.

People on here may think I have no credibility and that is fine with me, but Dr. Quentin Kidd is an absolute joke. Let me just list the top two idiotic things he has done;
1. The WVEC/Pilot Poll was conducted over 6 days, he said in an interview that it was accurate and in the same breath said that polls are only a snapshot of an election and must be taken over 1-2 days…
2. In a report taken for the Hampton Roads Center for Civic Engagement, he stated that 94% of people voted in Hampton Roads in 2008. Obviously that is not true, which he readily admitted.
This guy should not be allowed to do surveys and they certainly shouldn’t be given credibility by any form of media.
Rant over.
Well, if you are who we all think you are, using a pseudonym doesn’t help with your credibility much.

Terrific commentary by Dr. Kidd ~ “spot on”.
Who you probably think I am is someone whom I used to live with in Ghent and have been friends with since 6th grade. Interestingly, DJ used to live in the same building. However, I am not him, although I must admit I would never have started posting here were it not for him.
Either way, I spend more time reading news than Max does. He doesn’t have to call me on the phone to call out Quentin kid for doing sub-par work.
JR, Chris is not Kenny. Not even close. He may be a new recruit for Bert but don’t quote me on that.
