Thank you Vets!
As a retired Navy Veteran I want to express my appreciation to the current generation who are now serving. Yeah, I did qualify for ribbons, imminent danger pay and I was always willing to go where my nation asked me to go but…
I am in awe of the present generation now serving in our all volunteer military. These youngsters raised their hand knowing that danger was just not possible, it was probable.
On this day I wish to point out that we need to ensure that those of these youngsters who return to us broken need our help. We need to ensure that in our efforts to eliminate the budget deficit we do not climb on the backs of disabled veterans.
