Republicans make a pledge
By JR Hoeft | Thursday, September 23rd, 2010 | Catch-AllToday in Sterling, VA, the GOP released their much anticipated “Pledge to America“. Looks a lot like things we’ve seen before – perhaps it will actually work this time.

Ha ha ha – are you SERIOUS!?
What is going to work – the typical childish GOP pledges to cut taxes and reduce the deficit? It’s so typical of the GOP to make promises about the deficit that they have no intention of keeping. The only difference between the GOP and the DEMs on the deficit is that – well there isn’t one – they each bitch about it when they are out of power then run the bills up when they are in power – and the fact is that it is the voters of this country that let it happen. On the right everyone wants to believe the lie that lowering taxes creates jobs and raising taxes kills them (proved untrue during the Clinton and W years) – on the left everyone is beholden to a moral agenda without recognizing that someone has to actually pay for it.
No one ever wants to make an adult decision.
