Democrats to caucus without Mathieson
By Brian Kirwin | Friday, November 13th, 2009 | PoliticsToday in Glen Allen, Governor-elect Bob McDonnell will address the House Democratic caucus, as reported on WTOP.
A well-placed source has informed Bearing Drift that Democrats did not even include Bobby Mathieson in the invitation to the meeting.
After being defeated by Republican Ron Villanueva, Mathieson contested the certification of the vote, going as far to ask a judge to stop the counting of votes, and has promised to demand a recount at taxpayer expense to turn the loss around.
Nice to see his fellow House Democrats have so much hope for his political survival that they’ve already crossed him off their email list.

Politics is brutal. I don’t think they ever really liked him anyway. He’s expendable.
Currently, Mathieson is continuing his service, and will until his campaign has done everything to ensure the integrity of the absentee ballots. Yes, chances are slim their efforts will allow for a Mathieson win, but the process isn’t over.
What, exactly, has been done to sully the process of counting the absentee ballots. Everyoneis waiting with baited breath to see just how the local electoral board screwed Mathieson out of his seat. YOu losers have nothing, except more proof that you’re sore losers.
