Jody Wagner still fumbles numbers
By | Tuesday, October 27th, 2009 | Politics

Got an email today with Jody Wagner proclaiming “We’ve been shown two polls in the last week that have this race within a single point.”

Probably from the same folks who told Jody government revenues would be way up this year.

Two reputable polls show Bill Bolling ahead by 12 points and 14 points respectively.

But I know they’re numbers, and they always seem to confuse Jody. Maybe instead of two polls showing her within one point, she actually saw one poll where she was within double-digits.

Can’t be more of a mistake than getting state revenue estimates as wrong as she did.

She gets Bolling’s job title wrong (He’s an agent for property and casualty insurance) and Bolling’s meeting attendance wrong and she ignores his endorsements by the National Federation of Independent Business/Virginia, the Virginia Credit Union League, the Virginia Association of Realtors PAC, Associated Builders and Contractors of Virginia, the National Rifle Association, the Fraternal Order of Police, the Police Benevolent Society, the VA Farm Bureau AgPAC, and the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce.

Jody’s so bad, the Virginian-Pilot couldn’t stomach an endorsement for her when the rest of the statewide Democrats got an easy nod from them.

Jody’s campaign is so bad, I’m going to make a personal promise to buy some of her popcorn after the election, and urge you to do the same. It’s the least we can do.
