Deeds Campaign Loses the Sign War at Debate
By D.J. Spiker | Monday, October 12th, 2009 | PoliticsPulling up to the debate site tonight and there were rows upon rows of Deeds signs…problem was they had to put out hundreds to blocks the incredible showing by Bob McDonnell. In addition to the signs, McDonnell had dozens of 4x8s; pulling in I had not seen one Deeds 4×8.
Glad to see the Deeds’ campaign team is behind the 8-ball yet again…
No pictures, too dark and rushed down the lane, sorry

I was there putting up signs before the televised debate. We placed so many signs. In fact, several households allowed us to place signs in their yards. With all of the McDonnell signs placed, I saw someone from the Deeds campaign surveying the area. Eventually, the Deeds campaign showed up with all of their signs. Like usual, the Deeds volunteers placed their signs in front of ours including our 4×8 signs. In fact, the Deeds volunteers placed some of their signs in someone’s yard because there were McDonnell signs in the yard. The house owners told the Deeds volunteers to take them down, but the McDonnell signs stood. We did have a lot of 4×8 signs. Overall, we won the sign wars. Thanks to those house owners who allowed us to place signs in their yards.
