Do Campaigns Have a Mercy Rule?
By | Friday, October 9th, 2009 | Politics

Deeds just flip-flopped on ABC stores…. AGAIN.

Meanwhile, the McDonnell campaign is sounding more and more gubernatorial by the minute, talking cap-and-trade one minute, then debating at the Urban League of Young Professionals meeting at the University of Richmond the next.

If this were softball, this election would have been called by now.

While I love what McDonnell’s done and think Deeds’ campaign has been a joke, those of us in the party that ran Gilmore last year should be slow to joke about the mercy rule.
