Deeds follows McDonnell’s lead again, this time on pay-cut
By JR Hoeft | Thursday, August 27th, 2009 | PoliticsI’m glad Sen. Creigh Deeds, Virginia Democratic candidate for governor, agrees so much with his Republican opponent, Bob McDonnell. After all, McDonnell’s ideas are terrific.
What’s the latest? A gubernatorial pay-cut.
Wednesday, McDonnell said he would cut his salary as governor. Today, Deeds said he would do the same.
If Deeds agrees with McDonnell so much that he is a “me too” candidate, I wonder why Deed’s running against him?
