Cantor talks stimulus in this week’s GOP radio address
By | Saturday, July 11th, 2009 | Policy

House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) provides the weekly radio address for the GOP today on the subject of economic stimulus and job creation – including discussing the GOP alternative:

Couple of key takeaways from this address is that the GOP is definitely looking for the stimulus money to be returned to the taxpayers and that they clearly put the blame for the current state of the economy on the president and his Democratically-controlled Congress.

Seems to me the Republican Party needs new leadership.

Simply flipping around the “borrow and spend” that Republicans were accused of to “spend and borrow” with which to paint the Democrats does not win any points with me.
