By | Monday, May 4th, 2009 | Policy

Jack Kemp, a true big tent Ronald Reagan fiscal conservative, left us richer for his involvement in public policy.

Spend 45 minutes for this fantastic speech on Reagan, his policies and what it all meant to America.

Jack Kemp – we wish we had many more like you.

About the author

Brian Kirwin

The right wants to jeer him. The left wants to censor him. Moderates usually want both. Brian Kirwin is a political consultant and public relations strategist in Virginia Beach with a lightning-rod flair. Brian also serves on the VB Arts & Humanities Commission and frequently appears on Hampton Roads theatrical stages, if only to prove that all actors aren’t liberals. Kirwin’s columns stir up debate and hit the political scene with no punches pulled.

Jack Kemp was a great leader who articulated how conservative policies would help the poor and middle class. We should see his framework as a blueprint for the future.
