Seinfeld redux for Gov. Kaine
By JR Hoeft | Friday, July 11th, 2008 | Catch-AllFirst, there’s this excellent portrait of Gov. Tim Kaine on Write Side.
And this hilarious commentary on the governor’s leadership by NLS.
But I would like to make my own offering as Sen. Saslaw and Gov. Kaine talk about Del. Moran behind his back:

Govenor Kaine revealed to everyone that he was not serious about seeking a way to fund our region’s transportation. His refusal to use a very modest 30% of new port revenues to pay for the state-owned port’s billions of new highways proved to everyone that his agenda was only an agenda to raise taxes, not fund transportation projects and deal with the train wreck HB 3202 becamse once citizens took the matter to the Supreme Court.
We can all thank paul Jost for his willingness to fund a large portion of the cost to prove that the General Assembly doesn’t care if they violate the state constitution or not.
The only question now is “Does Kaine even bother to finish out his term?”
Or is he so fed up with Virginia politics, including Senate Democrats who hung him out to dry, does he hope for an appointment if Obama wins and let Bolling finish 2009 as Governor?

“Governor Bolling”, I like the sound of that!
