Hillary to FOX viewers - Send Money!

Hillary’s message was clear - If Republicans want the Democrats to keep beating up on each other, send her cash!
She made her appeal on an interview with Fox News this morning, asking Fox viewers to go to her website to “help me out in this campaign so we can keep going.”

Actually, I love the attack ads. I find them entertaining. So I might give a few bucks.
However, I’m sure McCain can probably make better use of my contribution. Even though it was so nice of Hillary to reach out to us folks who get informed “even on Fox News”.
I love this campaign.
Ron Paul raised big bucks but (thank God) was unable to transform the bucks to votes.
Is this evidence that the largest bankroll does not automatically win? I hope so.
We might be witnessing something new. Dollars do not automatically equate into votes. Perhaps this proves that in the past the dollars followed the votes? But now the votes are influenced by something other then the dollars?
John McCain won the Republican nomination despite being dollar deficit. Hillary Clinton remains competitive (and even ahead on the popular vote) while trailing in the dust of Obama on the dollar total.
Is a new day dawning? Is it possible that more importance will be given to the words said then the dollars spent? I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
It is kind of funny that Obama reports being a new kind of politician. It looks like he’s one that can raise lots of money, but he still can’t buy the election.
McCain, the author of campaign finance reform, is in dead last when it comes to fund raising. Irony or justice?
Duck - The difference is that the donations to Obama’s campaign average under $100 AND Obama has taken no money from PACs. Nice to have a candidate with an ethical compass.
As for McCain, lets face it, Bush and the Republicans are incredibly unpopular in this nation - the ability to raise money is honestly saying less about which candidates are liked and more about which party is disliked.
Ragnar, everyone in DC is unpopular. Your comment doesn’t hold, otherwise McCain wouldn’t:
a) Be leading in the polls and
b) Be raising more money than he has in the past
As for Obama’s ethical compass, do you seriously want to go there?
This post is about Hillary appealing to Republicans to keep the race going. It was a funny quip. Not about your precious Obama, and certainly not a post meant to defend John McCain.
Break out our catch phrase for Ragnar: “Lighten-up, Francis.”
“In this never-never land a couple of tinhorn Second City shysters–who, put together, don’t have the life experience of the lowest ranking gob-with-a-swab cleaning a head on the Big Stick–presume to run for president of the United States.”

First Murdoch hosts a fundraiser for Hillary, then Scaife says he has a “very favorable opinion” of her. Now we have Terry McAuliffe (prior DNC head and HRC campaign chairman) featured on a new FOX news promo praising their election coverage.
I keep getting flashbacks of Peter Venkman -
“Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria!”
Welcome to Htrae my bizarro friends!
I guess I belong in the Bizarro crowd.
I am amongst those that are as willing to listen to FOX and consider them creditable as I am to willing to listen to NPR.
Eghads, somebody who is willing to listen to and take into consideration opposing viewpoints. How UnAmerican!
Is John McCain a Republican? I know he thought about becoming a Dem, and hangs around with Lieberman? Hmmm? Anyone?
I can’t wait until the Dems favorite RINO gets into the WH!
The fact that John McCain is might be a RINO is what appeals to me about him.
I have nothing against Republicans as long as they identify themselves as “Ole style” Republicans. Them new style ones leave alot to be desired.
And that’s why John McCain has a chance while the GOP in general is detested by the majority of Americans.
Ragnar,
Keep living in a fantasy world. If it is just the GOP that is detested by the majority of Americans, why does your Democrat-controlled Congress have lower approval ratings than W does?
Keep saying we detest just the GOP and maybe it will miraculously come true.
