Milauna Jackson who plays Captain Campbell in the Netflix film The Six Triple Eight, will join critically acclaimed producer of the Netflix film The Six Triple Eight, bestselling author, and former U.S. Ambassador Nicole Avant on stage at the Bush Center to discuss the only women’s Army Corps unit of color during WWII. Retired Army Col. Edna Cummings, producer of a 2019 documentary about the 6888 and advocate for the battalion to be recognized with the Congressional Gold Medal, will also share details of their achievements.
