This guy was just elected to the Virginia State Senate last week: Va. Del. John McGuire to challenge Rep. Bob Good for GOP nomination (Washington Post).

He won’t even take office until January, but he has already announced a run for Congress in 2024. Now that is some unbridled ambition.

Having said that, I wish him well, because Rep. Bob Good has done nothing but cause trouble since being elected to Congress in 2020.
