View From the Editor’s Desk: U.S. Anti-Semitic Incidents Up Almost 400%; Stand Up To Jewish Hate

#StandUpToJewishHate: In March 2023 a national campaign was launched called Stand Up to Jewish Hate which was founded by Robert Kraft, an American businessman who is the CEO and chairman of the Kraft Group and owner of the NFL’s New England Patriots.

Blue Square lapel pins with a hashtag on them were mailed to anyone who asked, and so I emailed away for mine and began wearing it because of the anti-semitism that has infiltrated lives. The August 2017 Unite the Right marches at the University of Virginia were alarming. Most thought we had left that world behind us….

Now more than ever I feel we need to stand up to support our Jewish friends and neighbors. If you would like a pin to show your support combating anti-semitism, here is the link.

But to be truthful, we don’t need to wear a pin. We do need to walk the walk. It’s more urgent now than ever.
