In 2022 Republicans gave away any realistic chance of winning a majority in the United States Senate by nominating some very deficient candidates in key swing states like Georgia, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania.

Well, it looks like they may be intent on repeating that mistake in 2024. Here’s one such guy who has announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate in Nevada: Election denier Jim Marchant launches US Senate bid in Nevada.

Marchant is a 2020 election denier and an avid MAGA disciple. Folks, he cannot win in Nevada, as proven by the fact that he just lost a statewide campaign for Secretary of State in 2022.

If the GOP continues to nominate far-right candidates like this in key swing states, they will continue to lose. But stay tuned, I suspect we will see more of this, not less, as the 2024 elections start taking shape.
