As of 3:30 Tuesday afternoon, 19 far right-wing Republicans are holding up the election of a Republican Speaker in the U.S. House of Representatives. They are disgusting and misguided, and that includes Virginia’s Rep. Bob Good (R-VA 05), who is among their number.
They are doing nothing but compromising the ability of the Republican majority to organize in its control of the House, and that benefits no one but President Biden and the Democrats, who are no doubt laughing themselves silly over these antics.
