Saxman: Four House District races for 2023 in Hampton Roads Analyzed

Back to the first round of breaking down nomination contests for the 2023 General Assembly elections.

In the 92nd House District there are currently two candidates per VPAP.

Bonita Anthony and Kim Sudderth.

Combined in the first finance report they have raised $553 in this 75% Democratic district. This is a literal coin toss based on publicly available information, but make no mistake this largely Norfolk district will be won by a Democrat.

Democrat WIN.

The nearby 94th (See below) is far more competitive (McAuliffe ‘21 was +4) and will Lean Democrat out of the gate with Phil Hernandez the only announced Democrat thus far.
