U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev) was projected the winner Saturday night with Democrats retaining control of the Senate with a 50-49 balance.
One seat is still in question in Georgia with the December 6 runoff between Republican Herschel Walker and Democratic incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock. If the results of that race put the Senate in a tie, Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris would be the tie breaker.
Counting continues for U.S. House candidates waiting for the results of 20 races.
