As with the past well-researched and documented hearings, this one is expected to present additional information and unseen video connecting dots that may include the former president’s role in the riot. Witnesses at previous hearings, many from Trump’s administration, have testified that they told him there was nothing to back up his claims of voter fraud during the 2020 presidential election.
With millions of Americans tuning in to the hearings that have been held during the day as well as in the evenings throughout June and July, it is interesting to note that the #1 best seller on Amazon right now is The January 6 Report with an intro by Ari Melber.
Vice Chairman Liz Cheney said over the weekend that Wednesday most likely will not be the last hearing as the committee continues to gather info and listen to witnesses.
Calling for violence, vandalizing the U.S. Capitol building, and hunting for Congressional Representatives and Senators to hurt even as mobs hunt down the Vice President while chanting, “Hang Mike Pence,” is … not normal. It’s not Republican and it’s not American, at least not the Republican party and America I know.
