Day 7: Today’s 1/6 Committee Hearing Will Focus on Extremists at the Capitol

Day 7 of the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol will take place today, Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 1:00 pm (note the time change).
This hearing will concentrate on the extremists who were part of the January 6 insurrection on the U.S. Capitol and what their connection may have been to the White House.
Reps. Jamie Raskin and Stephanie Murphy will facilitate today’s line of questioning. The Committee has been laying out the timeline and story of that day’s events through the testimony of witnesses, connecting the dots that led to that dark day in American history.
Witnesses will include a former Oath Keeper, an activist in the mob that entered the Capitol on January 6, and taped testimony from former White House counsel Pat Cipollone (CBS News).
All major news and cable outlets will carry this seventh day of hearings that had impacted the fabric of America. Numerous streaming locations will also be available including the January 6 website.
