Bolling: Family History and World War II
I found a little piece of Bolling family history today. I came across this clip in The Highland County Recorder from January 18, 1946, that reported on my dad’s discharge from the U.S. Navy. He was 23 years old at the time and served mostly in the Pacific theater, stationed in Guam and the Philippines.
I still have two pairs of his Navy blues from World War II hanging in my closet. I love family history.
