Riding the Blue Ridge Parkway is a favorite pastime but last week’s extraordinary weather made a drive to the high ridges a high priority. With temps topping out at 66 degrees with low humidity three weeks into June, it made for a pleasant day to follow trails and check out overlooks. We covered from Milepost 1 at Afton Mountain to Milepost 26 at Route 56, and back again. Come along on our ride.
