The tweet sent from former President Donald Trump’s daughter could very well have been the shot heard round the world considering the flashback she has received.
Read the comments left at Ivanka Trump’s Twitter account that include new conspiracy theories like this one: she didn’t really receive the shot because the arm doesn’t “indent like that” as a needle goes in, with an accusation of lying. And more. Much more. She catching it from left and right.

The Associated Press reported that she received the Pfizer vaccine in Florida, where people 16 and above are eligible. She told the AP in a statement that “getting vaccinated is our best way to beat this virus and protect ourselves and others.”
The AP reported, citing two sources, that Trump had been eligible for vaccination when she was working at the White House but chose to wait.
As Insider’s Eliza Relman reported, Trump is the first member of her immediate family to publicize that she got vaccinated. Her father, former President Donald Trump, was quietly vaccinated alongside the first lady in January.
Here’s to giving credit where credit is due. Covid-19 has taken the lives of more than half-a-million Americans in the past 14 months. Ivanka has young children. Perhaps she wants a normal world for them in the years to come and this is the way to get on the path to some day not having to wear masks or fear infections from large crowds. Most of us don’t want our children to live in that kind of world in the years to come.
Bottom line: She did the right thing. It’s the reason many high profile people have allowed cameras present as they received their inoculations. If just one person who was hesitant decides to receive the vaccination because of a celebrity or someone they respect, the publication of that event has been a success.
