Republicans Pick Marjorie Taylor Greene Instead of America
So this is what we learned about newly elected Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene this week (Washington Post).
“Have you guys been following 4chan? Q? Any of that stuff?” Greene asked her followers in November 2017. “Q is a patriot, we know that for sure. … He is someone that very much loves his country, and he’s on the same page as us, and he is very pro-Trump.”
In that video, which Greene has since removed from her social media accounts but has been reposted to YouTube, the future congresswoman told the uninitiated where to go to learn more: AmericanTruthSeekers.com, a now-defunct blog.
Geene’s author page on an archived version of the site, highlighted by NBC News in August, says she wrote 59 posts. One is headlined: “MUST READ — Democratic Party Involved With Child Sex, Satanism, and The Occult.” A January 2018 post extolled Q for possessing “obvious intelligence beyond the normal person.”
Greene also began advancing baseless theories that appeal to extreme gun rights advocates: that several mass shootings were “false flag” events that were staged by gun control proponents. Greene said that these included the 2017 massacre in Las Vegas and the 2018 Parkland school shooting.

Greene also embraced bogus claims about the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and she has posited that laser beams from space may have started California wildfires, another baseless QAnon theory.
Lest we forget, Greene is also one of the leading peddlers of the “stolen election” nonsense (CNN). However, as Michael Kranish, Reis Thebault, and Stephanie McCrummen make clear in the aforementioned WaPo piece, none of her rants prevented the House Freedom Caucus and other supposed conservatives from embracing her and supporting her efforts to win election to Congress.
So it shouldn’t surprise anyone that there have been no repercussions for what has been revealed this week. Indeed, Greene actually landed a spot on the House Education and Labor Committee (Salon).
Lest anyone think this was an oversight, Greene herself made it clear she was the party’s present and its future in two tweets this weekend. The first was to thank Donald Trump for “a GREAT call” and for “his support and more importantly the people of this country are absolutely 100% loyal to him because he is 100% loyal to the people.”
Buttressed by the GOP’s Bigot-in-Chief, she then hit the trifecta for anti-Semetic dog whistles. If you’re wondering why your pup had a rough day, he was hearing this:
Perpetual warmongering, pro-abortion Democrats like Bill Kristol are not welcome in the GOP. Their neocon reign of death in the womb & across the world in pointless wars is unmatched. These America Last globalists are clinging to relevance because the People have rejected them.
I must confess, as one of the last self-described neoconservatives, it feels good to know that Greene hates me so much. More importantly, however, is the fact that “neocon” and “globalist” are how many anti-Semites hide their hatred for Jews – while Greene herself targets Kristol personally (as opposed to any number of gentiles in the Never Trump Conservative orbit, such as Rick Wilson, Joe Walsh, Tom Nichols, etc.).
Of course, the Republican Party is no longer interested in purging anti-Semites from their ranks. They’re too busy taking aim at the few Republicans in Congress who had the courage to impeach Trump (WAMC and MSN).
There was a time – last month, in fact – where it seemed the Republican Party would look at the insurrection of January 6 and finally rid itself of Trumpism. It was a long shot, to be sure, but it was a shot all the same. http://loans-cash.net
Instead, the Republican Party has decided that those who opposed Donald Trump are the problem.
And Marjorie Taylor Greene? She’s a Q-loving, fact-denying anti-Semite … and the Republicans love her for it.
