Why Stay?

Over the last few weeks, especially since the election, I’ve witnessed many things regarding the Republican Party. I’ve begun to wonder why I should stay a Republican.

All throughout the Trump presidency I’ve considered myself a Never Trump Republican. However, after looking at how the party has acted, I’m considering dropping the Republican part and becoming an independent.

Therefore, I’m asking you the reader, especially the ones who are still Republicans, this question: Why should I stay a Republican?
