The Republican Sixth Congressional District convention date and location have been changed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The convention will now be held on Saturday, July 11, at Thomas Road Baptist Church [1] in Lynchburg adjacent to Liberty University. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the convention will start at 10.
The plans are to hold a traditional convention in the building with everyone present, as presented by Del. Wendell Walker to the committee and approved at last week’s meeting.
