To celebrate his 72nd birthday, President George W. Bush got back on the mountain bike saddle alongside our nation’s finest: 11 alumni of the W100K, an event honoring the men and women of our Armed Forces wounded after 9/11. With photos by Brad Newton for the George W. Bush Presidential Center, we get a glimpse of the respect W has for our men and women in uniform, and of the humanity and humility of this two-term president.
