Martha Boneta Excites the Norfolk GOP

A tremendous group of Republicans gathered for the monthly business meeting of the Norfolk Republican Party to hear special guest Martha Boneta speak. The crowd consisted of many new faces that have recently become involved with the Norfolk Republican Party, as well as those involved years ago but have rejoined under a new positive leadership team.

The positive support from 2nd District GOP Chair Dennis Free, 3rd District GOP Chair Jennifer Lee, and representatives of Congressman Scott Taylor’s campaign at the meeting was much appreciated by those in attendance as it is imperative that the grassroot volunteers are all communicating and working together with our local GOP leadership.

Martha Boneta, a farmer and conservative activist from Northern Virginia known for her work on the Boneta Bill, made the several-hour trip to Norfolk to share her backstory of fighting for the conservative values and her work on behalf of the Trump Team. With the recent embassy change in Israel, Martha spoke of her travels with Judge Jeanine Pirro who invited Martha as a special guest to Jerusalem for the ceremonies celebrating the new location of the American Embassy.

Martha highlighted the positive works that have occurred under President Trump such as: the appointment of Neil Gorsuch, the improvement of the Veterans Administration, the U.S. economy, the negotiations with North Korea, and, of course, the relocation of the American Embassy in Israel.  Following the event Martha stayed to answer questions and take pictures with attendees.

There is no doubt the Norfolk Republican Party is growing with new positive energy. It is essential that localites like Norfolk grow because if Republicans are to win statewide we must perform better in our urban areas. Virginia Republicans may not win our inner cities but they must close the gap. By growing our local units and reaching out to our community, we will be more equipped to accomplish this essential task.
