KKK Uses Martin Luther King Day to Recruit in Virginia

A resident of the Fredericksburg-Spotsylvania area passed along that KKK fliers were distributed Monday as the nation paused to celebrate and remember the life of Dr. Martin Luther King.

A quick search brought up an article in the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star with a photo of the flyer with the banner headline:

The Free Lance-Star added that fliers had been distributed over the weekend in Loudoun County and added:

The fliers in Fredericksburg, a copy of which was mailed to The Free Lance–Star, state that a “cowardly and spineless Congress” approved the national holiday by a vote of 338-90.
