Republican Ed Gillespie and Democrat Ralph Northam will meet Tuesday evening at 7:00 in the second gubernatorial debate that will be hosted by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce.
Chuck Todd, host of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” will moderate the debate that will be broadcast on Washington’s NBC4. It can also be livestreamed at NBCWashington.com.
Tuesday’s debate comes on the heels of Monday’s latest polls showing that the Virginia gubernatorial race is statistically tied. They were the first statewide polls in almost a month, and both showed many undecided voters — 14 percent and 12 percent — so tonight’s debate could be an important break-through leading into the final seven weeks before the election.
The one-hour face-off, focusing on issues facing Virginians, is tonight, Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 7:00 p.m.
