Marty Williams of Chesapeake is the Republican nominee for congress, challenging 13-term incumbent Rep. Bobby Scott (D) in the 3rd District; however, a good portion of Scott’s district used to belong in the former 4th District where Williams lives.
In this interview, Williams talks about his background, and also answers in a very straightforward manner his view on Scott’s performance on defense spending. He also discusses the Black Lives Matter movement (including his role) and NFL national anthem protests [1], immigration reform, Donald Trump, and House Speaker Paul Ryan and other members of Congress.
You can find out more about Williams at his website [2].
