Want To Help Flood Victims in WVa? Here’s How — Updated

Updated: Locations are being added. Please feel free to add to the comments — name of location and address (street, city). The need is growing as time passes … anything helps. They have lost their homes, businesses, and, sadly, loved ones.

The devastation is unbelievable [1] as West Virginians try to cope with massive flooding and the tragedy of lost lives. On the positive side, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin told MSNBC on Monday that the number of deaths was lowered to 23 after two people who had been swept away in flood waters were found alive.

Word from those with boots on the ground is that it is far worse than what is being reported on the news. The federal government has set up to help three counties; 41 more are under a state of emergency. Search-and-rescue is still taking place.
