Thanks a million!

2015 marked the third year in a row that Bearing Drift has crested the one million views mark, making us – still – the most read Virginia conservative website.  Thanks to your continued readership, we were able to provide you daily with the best commentary, news and analysis on Virginia politics and the impact of national politics on our Commonwealth.  Our radio show “The Score” continued its growth, and we introduced “The Last Word” and the triumphant return of our “Virginia Politics On Demand” podcast.

We broke site records this year, including our most read piece ever and our largest single day of traffic.  Social media remains a key aspect to our marketing strategy, and your continued shares on Facebook and Twitter have helped us to reach a wider audience than ever before.

In the new year, you can look for continued excellence in commentary and analysis.  We will be working to add new contributors to maintain our balance of views across the center-right spectrum, more op-eds from people you want to hear from, full coverage of the RPV Convention, local party elections, the 5th District open seat Congressional race, and – of course – the 2016 presidential election, including the 2016 Republican National Convention.  We will also continue our efforts to innovate which will include a potential site redesign to make it more mobile friendly.
