Looks like Friday is becoming SCC Day. Every time I think this story is over, we get an additional wrinkle.
As I noted this morning, SCC should be focusing on the upcoming Congressional and Senatorial elections in Virginia, not interparty fighting. Senator Frank Wagner agrees with me, and has asked RPV Chairman Pat Mullins to defer action on this issue until after the November election. Glad to see somebody in all this business still remembers what the point of having a party apparatus is.
One thing of note in Senator Wagner’s letter – he says he hasn’t seen a copy of the appeal. That strikes me as odd, especially given how visible this issue has been the last few days.
